Immigration Law

Immigration law governs the legal status of a people coming to a country, in matters such as citizenship. Immigration/ Emigration Law controls the immigration to or emigrating from a country and includes legal status of such person to work or enjoy categories of rights afforded the citizens of the country.

Immigration laws ws are normally creatures of statute and .  The relevant legislation may changes as sentiments may sway from the widely inclusive to the deeply exclusive, with respect to foreign peoples from entering, working or staying in a countrytry

Certain countries may maintain rather strict laws which regulate the entry, the duration of stay, the right to work, participate in government, etc. Most countries have laws which designate a process for naturalization, by which immigrants may become citizens under certain circumstances.
